"An Evening in Sacred Vrindavan"August 15th - 7:00pm

Accompanied with narration and songs, the audience will embark on a journey to the sacred land of Vrindavan, the abode of Radha and Krishna. The event begins with mangalacharan, an invocation for auspiciousness, followed by an introduction to Vrindavan. The songs, works of medieval Bengali poets, describe the arati-ceremony of Radha and Krishna in the evening in Vrindavan and are sung in traditional call-response style. Following a brief talk on the magical nature of the great mantra of Krishna's names, the event ends with Maha-Mantra kirtan. Please see www.jyotimandir.org for more info.
